Gary joined Thompson Health in 2007 to oversee the independent and enriched living provided at Ferris Hills at West Lake and the adjacent Clark Meadows.
A native of Chelmsford in Essex, England, and a graduate of Southgate College in London, Gary has several years of experience in the hospitality industry and prior to joining Thompson Health was Director of Sales and Marketing for Hyatt Corp.
Gary is an active member of the Canandaigua community. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Canandaigua Chamber of Commerce and is a past board member for the Finger Lakes Visitors Connection. He and his wife, Bonnie, reside in Canandaigua and own the Sutherland House Bed & Breakfast.
At Ferris Hills and Clark Meadows, Gary calls upon his background in the hospitality industry as he strives to provide a friendly, active and safe community with the same level of customer service one would expect in a hotel. “The happiness of our residents is my number one priority,” he says. |

A Waterloo native who currently lives in Geneva with her husband and son, Darcy holds an Associate’s degree in Health Administration and in the fall of 2011 will graduate magna cum laude from DeVry University with a Bachelor’s in business, with a concentration in Health Services Management.
With 18 years of experience as a licensed practical nurse (LPN), Darcy worked in various fields, including pediatrics and geriatrics. Following four years at Thompson Health’s Shortsville Family Practice, she joined the Ferris Hills staff in the summer of 2011.
At Ferris Hills and Clark Meadows, Darcy plans and implements daily operations for resident services and transportation. She organizes resident activities and programs at Ferris Hills, where she also serves as a liaison to residents and family members alike.

Sue joined Thompson Health in 2004 and serves as program manager for both the enriched living community of Clark Meadows and The Brighter Day, a medical adult day program located on Fort Hill Avenue in Canandaigua.
With degrees in human services, therapeutic recreation and business management, Sue’s background includes 10 years as a recreational therapist for the geriatric population at the Willard Psychiatric Center and 11 years as a program coordinator for Clifton Springs Hospital behavioral health services.
Sue lives in Geneva.

| With a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Food Service Administration from Mansfield University in Pennsylvania, Debbie spent more than 20 years in the restaurant business before turning to the health care/senior living field.
She came to Ferris Hills/Clark Meadows in 2005 and says that she constantly strives to exceed the residents’ expectations. This includes offering variety – including 60 different special entrees each month –taking suggestions regarding menu ideas from the residents, as well as hosting Holiday meals and other special themed events and meals. “I love the challenge of my job and have a wonderful staff to ensure that we provide the best possible experience for our residents,” Debbie says.
